RockFig Safari Lodge’s New Development Progress and January 2026 Opening

We are delighted to share exciting news about RockFig Safari Lodge’s newest development, which is progressing smoothly and on schedule for an anticipated opening in mid-January 2026.
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the guest experience, our new lodge will be located near our current site, offering all the cherished elements of RockFig Safari Lodge—along with a host of exceptional new features. Our upcoming luxury lodge will bring a fresh level of sophistication and comfort to the heart of the Timbavati.
Over and above our unique 4 passengers per vehicle , here’s what you can look forward to:
- Expansive Indoor and Outdoor Spaces:Thoughtfully designed to foster relaxation and connection with nature, our lodge will offer large, open spaces for guests to unwind and enjoy the surrounding beauty.
- Exclusive Onsite Amenities:Our guests will have access to a tranquil spa and well-equipped gym, ensuring their stay is as rejuvenating as it is memorable.
- Private Plunge Pools:Each suite will feature a private plunge pool, overlooking a waterhole where wildlife frequently gathers. It’s an extraordinary opportunity for guests to immerse themselves in the natural wonders of the region.
