Who we are
thegsa.co.za is owned and operated by Travel Ideas Publishing (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2017/383756/07, a South African company. References to “The GSA”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Travel Ideas Publishing (Pty) Ltd.
Who we serve
The GSA is a business-to-business directory and trade magazine for the South African travel industry. Listings, contact information, trade rates, and editorial content are made available to assist travel agents, tour operators, and other registered trade professionals to do their work. Consumer use is not the primary intended audience.
Your account
Trade access requires registration. Approval is at our discretion. You must provide accurate information about your role and the company you trade under, keep your password confidential, and not share your login with anyone else.
We may suspend, deactivate, or remove an account at any time if we believe it is being misused, used for purposes other than trade research, or used in breach of these terms.
Use of directory content
Directory listings, contact details, and trade rates are provided to registered trade members to support genuine trade business: building itineraries, sourcing suppliers, and contacting principals on behalf of clients.
You may not:
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically download the directory
- Resell or redistribute the directory or any substantial part of it
- Use contact details for unsolicited consumer marketing
- Use the site to compete with The GSA as a directory or trade publication
Content accuracy
Information on the site is supplied by third-party tour operators, hotels, airlines, car rental agencies, tourism boards, and other principals. We do our best to keep listings, country guides, visa information, and editorial accurate, but rates, requirements, and policies change frequently. You should always verify visa and entry requirements with the relevant authority before booking.
We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any information on the site, and we are not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on it.
Third-party links
The site contains links to external websites for supplier portals, booking systems, embassy resources, and partner platforms. We do not control these sites and we do not endorse their content, terms, or privacy practices. Use them at your own discretion.
Editorial and user contributions
Where the site lets you submit content (comments, reviews, photos, avatars, classifieds, job posts), you agree:
- Not to post anything unlawful, defamatory, threatening, abusive, obscene, or that infringes a third party’s rights
- That you are responsible for what you submit
- That we may moderate, edit, or remove anything that breaches these terms or our editorial judgement
- That we have a non-exclusive royalty-free licence to use what you submit on the site and in our trade publications, with attribution where reasonable
Competitions and promotions
From time to time we run competitions for registered trade members. Entry conditions appear with each competition. GSA employees, their immediate family, and any agency that won a GSA competition in the preceding three months are excluded. Winners are drawn at random unless otherwise stated. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash alternative. Where competition-specific terms conflict with these general terms, the competition-specific terms prevail.
Intellectual property
The site, its layout, code, editorial, photography, country guides, and trade magazine content are copyright Travel Ideas Publishing (Pty) Ltd. Logos, names, and marks identifying The GSA and our principals are protected by trademark and design rights. You may not reproduce substantial portions of the site for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the site is free from viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Travel Ideas Publishing (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including loss of business, profits, or data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The South African courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page with the “last updated” date at the top.
