GSA Galaxy helps you search faster and find more accurate results. Predictive search is used throughout the site to assist you in finding the results that you need. PRODUCT SEARCH - Start typing the name of the listing, city or web reference (as found in the GSA Magazine) to bring up the results you are looking for. For example, searching "France" will bring up a list of articles with France in the name - such as Air France, France Tourism Office and France Visa Guide. Included on the list will be all accommodation, ski resorts and rail lines that are located in France. You will also get a list of Tour Operators and Airlines that operate in France. CATEGORY SEARCH - Use this search bar if you need a list of service providers in a certain category - for example, visa services or car rental. For example, clicking on Tour Operators will take you to our full list of tour operators. From here you can look over the various options available in more detail. COUNTRY SEARCH - Planning an international holiday? Jump straight to the country guide to find the visa information and country guide associated with the country, as well as a list of the Tour Operators, Airlines, Car Rental and other suppliers that operate in the country.

Visa Information
This is one of our most popular pages, and we have made it easier than ever to access this information. Once you have logged in, you can access our Quick Visa Guide by clicking on the "VISA" button - right next to the GSA logo. This will take you straight to our handy visa table - giving you a quick guide to whether visas or vacinnations are required. For more details, you can click on the country name. Alternatively, you can search for the country guide by using the Country drop down menu or by typing the name of the country in the search bar. If there are visa forms, they will be available for download on the country guide. An exciting new feature means that you can email or print this information, including the visa forms, in one step by clicking on the PRINT or EMAIL buttons.
What do I do if I can’t get hold of one of your advertisers?
Our advertisers contact details are kept up to date, however changes do frequently occur, as well as technical problems do arise with telephone lines, etc. Their direct websites are also given where available.
What is the Communicator?
The GSA Travel Communicator is a multi-platform communication tool that allows us to communicate quickly, clearly and directly with travel agents and suppliers The default communication channel is the desktop communicator - a light-weight application that is installed on every user's computer. Once information is added to the content management system it is automatically pushed to the desktops of all users. No further action is required - information is updated automatically, even when the communicator is not active. For users not at their computer the same information is also available on their mobile phones - either as a custom application (iPhone, Android & Blackberry) or via the mobi-site, which is accessible by virtually any internet enabled mobile device. And for those users that have not installed either the desktop communicator or the mobile application we send out a weekly email digest. The digest contains all the news from the last week, calendar events for the week ahead, and all resources & gallery pics that were added in the last seven days. The digest is also available in print format, should you wish.
What makes a good review?
Reviews must be based on your personal experience and not the experience of your clients or other third parties. This can include your experience during the reservation process. A good review has information which is useful to other users. For example, “Good hotel” or “Enjoyed Stay” does not relay enough information to assist other users. Try to include likes and dislikes, room for improvements, and the complaint resolution process which was followed at the hotel (should this apply). Who do I contact regarding back issues of The GSA?
E-mail anja@the-gsa.co.za
Why do I have to sign in?
The GSA has always been geared towards providing information for the Travel Industry. In the past, The GSA Website has been an Open Access website, with the intention that Travel Agents could direct their clients towards the website for Visa and Destination information. With our New Look, we have decided to redirect our attention purely to the Travel Industry, whilst still providing information for the general public. Travel Agents can disseminate this information to their clients by printing directly off the website, or by email – using the share links on the website. The change will allow us to add information which is aimed at the Travel Industry, which is not for the general public.
Why has my account been suspended?
As per The GSA's Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to suspend, deactivate or remove any user account. Should we have made such a decision, a confirmation email will have been sent to you with our reasons for the deactivation. If you have received such an email and wish to appeal this decision, please contact us at webadmin@the-gsa.co.za. We would require this in writing via email.
Why is my review not showing?
All reviews are subject to an editorial process, whereby they may be edited or not used, based on our editor’s discretion. Your review may not be showing because it is still undergoing the above process, or because our editorial team felt that the review should be dealt with as a private matter and not on a public forum. Our editorial team may, in these instances, forward the review directly to the establishment to be dealt with privately and amicably. If you have any queries about why your review is not showing, please contact us at webadmin@the-gsa.co.za or call 021 683 4433.
Why should I use the Communicator?
Information is key in our industry. This is a simple, no-fuss way of keeping in touch and up to date. Receiving the content is super-easy. One click installation means you're up & running in less than 30 seconds.
